HARRY POTTER

The creator of the magical hero Harry Potter (J K Rowling) has joined the ranks of Tiger Woods, Steven Spielberg, and Oprah Winfrey among others, to emerge as the ninth richest celebrity worldwide. She is the only non American to make it on the beloved list; with an income is around £77 per minute or over £100,000 a day! The only other novelist to show on this list compiled by Forbes is Dan Brown, two ranks above Rowling with £90 per minute.
Of course, the reasons why Rowling records on the list are all to see – her previous three books have broken all records to appear the fast selling books in history. Several bookstores have already got a list of those subscribing to buy her next, yet incomplete novel. Infact, bookstores have had to open at midnight because excited Rowling fans didn't want to wait till morning to take their copy. And of course the film adaptations of the first four books in the series have left a long way in putting her name on the richest celebrities' list.
